Uae Updates Protocols For Passengers Arriving On Business Flights

The UAE authorities has issued fresh safety protocols for passengers arriving in the country through business flights. Addressing the weekly briefing on the current COVID-19 situation in the UAE, the authorities underlined that the guidelines have been updated in coordination between the National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management (NCEMA) and the General Authority of Civil Aviation.

The updates have been made with the aim of promoting safe return of economic activities across key sectors. Some of the new protocols include the removal of the maximum number of passengers allowed to enter the country via business jets.

As per the updated protocols, all businessmen, women, residents and visitors are allowed to enter the country via business flights. It is important for businessmen, residents and visitors to register with the "Arrivals Registration" service for official approval by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security to enter the country. They are mandated to present a copy of the approval of vaccination certificates issued from the site upon departure.

The UAE authorities have also called on passengers to present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result performed within 48 hours from the time of departure. The PCR test result must contain an official QR code for verification. In addition, another rapid PCR test will be conducted at the airport grounds up to 6 hours before the departure of the flight. The negative result of the Rapid PCR test must be presented to the airport authorities for departure.

Furthermore, a COVID-19 test will be conducted upon arrival in the UAE as well as on the fourth and eighth days of stay in the country.
