Amid the ongoing surge in Omicron Coronavirus variant across different countries, the UAE government has called on the residents and citizens to take the booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine in order to contain the spread of infections in the country.

Leading research and studies conducted by the World Health Organisation (WHO) have confirmed the efficiency of booster vaccination in fighting the COVID-19 virus. Health experts have also underlined that people who received a booster dose were at lesser risk of COVID-19 infection compared to those who did not receive the booster dose.

The UAE government has highlighted its priority to maintain the health and safety of the community. In this regard, the authorities urged the public to receive their booster vaccine dose to achieve the necessary antibodies to prevent the impact of mutations and genetic mutations of Coronavirus.

“We call upon our honourable audience that teams will be formed by the party's organiser to ensure that all precautionary and preventive measures are applied and adhered to," the authorities said.

The UAE government has stated that it has implemented a policy of strategic integration between relevant sectors which are actively involved in the national response against the pandemic. Through proactive measures, the country was able to control to the number of infections and ensure the provision of the latest methods of prevention and treatment to strengthen community health.

In conclusion, the authorities thanked the community members for proactively participating in national vaccination efforts. The community also played an effective role in building sustainable community immunity against the pandemic.

Meanwhile, the UAE has boosted its safety and precautionary measures in view of the rising transmission of Omicorn COVID-19 variant.
