Dr Farida Al Hosani, official spokesperson for the UAE Health Sector, pointed out that some community members are refusing to get vaccinated in hopes to develop “normal immunity after infection”. She continued, “This is completely wrong because their infection with the virus puts their life at grave stake. To have an advance protection by the vaccine is much safer.”

The three UAE approved Covid-19 vaccines are manufactured in different ways. She added underlining that the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine has 100% efficacy against Covid-19 complications. She added, “However, they are all safe, and effective in stimulating the body to produce antibodies that protect it against infection from Covid-19.”
