Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid receives COVID-19 vaccine shot

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, on Tuesday received the COVID-19 vaccine in a bid to support the ongoing efforts of the scientists in the country to develop a potential vaccine against the virus.

Taking to Twitter after receiving the virus, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid posted a message in which he expressed hope for the safety and great health of the people. He added that the leadership is proud of the team which is working tirelessly to develop a vaccine for the safety of the UAE against the virus.

"We wish everyone safety and great health, and we are proud of our teams who have worked relentlessly to make the vaccine available in the UAE. The future will always be better in the UAE," Sheikh Mohammed tweeted.

Earlier, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, had received the Coronavirus vaccine.
