Sharjah: All private schools to resume 100% in-person classes

All private schools in Sharjah are set to return to full in-person learning from the new academic term beginning in April.

The announcement has been made by the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) in coordination with the local National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA).

Taking to Twitter, the Authority announced that the decision was taken in view of the ongoing stability of the COVID-19 situation in the region along with a high vaccination rate among the community members.

UAE authorities continue to ensure various measures to curb the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. In line with these measures, the UAE has been witnessing reducing new daily infections of COVID-19 in recent weeks.

Furthermore, eligible community members are receiving the COVID-19 vaccinations and booster doses to enhance immunity protection against the virus.

These efforts have facilitated the return to in-person learning in schools across the emirates.
