SEHA issues new directive for accessing its healthcare facilities

Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) has announced that all patients and visitors above the age of 16 years are required to present a green pass on their Al Hosn apps to access the services at its healthcare facilities and centres, effective from September 7, Tuesday. According to a statement issued by SEHA on Sunday, the rule is exempted for patients visiting emergency departments and drive-through COVID-19 PCR testing facilities across its healthcare centres.

The announcement has come in line with the latest directive issued by the Abu Dhabi Emergency Crisis and Disasters Committee to approve the use of the green pass on Al Hosn app for visits to SEHA healthcare facilities.

SEHA issued the directive on the basis of Abu Dhabi authorities' proactive strategy to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, enhancing vaccination across the emirate, focusing on active contract tracings, among other measures. Abu Dhabi authorities have been ensuring all possible measures to contain the impact of COVID-19 virus in the emirate.
