Plans for UAE’s 50 year celebration in 2021 are still in place

No one imagined 2020 to be a year where all all the plans will fail. Different countries made different plans for themselves but unfortunately in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, those plans went into vain.

Having said that, we all are aware that the United Arab Emirates has been one of the countries to have handled the coronavirus in one of the most efficient ways. During the end of 2019, the Vice President and the Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al- Maktoum revealed his big plans for 2020.

He expressed how he wanted 2020 to be the year of preparations for the nation's 50th anniversary scheduled to be celebrated in 2021. But due to the pandemic, a lot of planning could not be executed as the time and education went into handling the virus spread.

But even with all those difficulties, the world has seen how successfully the emirati nation has handled the pandemic while also exhibiting great strength and preparedness for the upcoming year.

The UAE has been globally acknowledged as a spirited and a practical nation that does everything in the interest of people and has emerged victorious in celebrating the very nature of its existence.

This year the country became the first in the region to have launched a peaceful nuclear program in Barakah. It also launched a remarkable mission to mars on July 19 this year. Not only this but the UAE also continued its efforts of humanitarian needs as it offered aid and archestrate one of the largest peacetime movements of food and medical supplies all around the world.

Be it in the department of women empowerment or be it the expansion of its developmental projects throughout the Arab region, the UAE has left its mark in every sphere this year. Even when economies of countries were failing to sustain the population, the UAE made sure that its citizens did not have to suffer much and made programs for their benefits and to make their survival easy.

Upcoming years 2021 will see new prospects in the UAE. Dubai expo 2020 was delayed by a year and people all around the world cannot wait for the event to be a part of their calendar. It will be the first world expo to be hosted by a middle eastern country where nearly 200 countries will be participating. The event will exhibit the best the world and the nation has to offer.
