New regulations allow UAE residents and citizens to leave Abu Dhabi emirate

UAE citizens and residents are allowed to leave Abu Dhabi emirate with no permit

In new regulations released, the UAE citizens and residents are allowed to leave Abu Dhabi emirate with no permit requirement.

The announcement was made in a joint statement released by Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Committee for Covid-19 Pandemic, and Abu Dhabi Police and DOH.

The new rules also allow entry into Abu Dhabi emirate but after being issued a permit by Abu Dhabi Police. Once the travelers enter the emirate, required precautionary health measures would be taken.

Using the permit system travelling between Abu Dhabi emirate regions is also allowed, which include Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra.

However, the travelling within each region in Abu Dhabi emirate is to be done following National Sterilization Programme timings. The movement of workers within Abu Dhabi’s regions remains restricted with prohibited entry and exit from Abu Dhabi emirate.
