New COVID-19 measures approved for Sharjah Police buildings

Sharjah's Emergency Crisis and Disaster Team recently approved a series of precautionary measures implemented by the Sharjah Police (SP) for its employees and clients with the aim of combating the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As per a WAM report, the team has approved a mandatory PCR test for its and clients before they enter the main building of the Sharjah Police or its federal buildings in the emirate, with effect from February 11, 2021. It also all include clients visits various customer happiness centres across the emirate.

However, exception have been made for those who have received the COVID-19 vaccine in partnership with national vaccination programmes and volunteers involved in clinical trials of the vaccines across the UAE.

The Sharjah Police has underlined its keenness in assisting its clients with the provision of smart services in order to ensure that transactions are easily completed without the need for clients to visit the services centres. In this regard, the police has urged its clients to carry out all their transactions through its smart applications "Sharjah police" or "Police Station in Your Phone" available on the MOI UAE application.
