New Coronavirus testing centre inaugurated in Fujairah

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has recently inaugurated a Coronavirus testing centre in Fujairah under the directives of Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah. Represented by the Fujairah Medical Zone, the Coronavirus testing centre has been established in coordination with the local Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Team and the Fujairah Police.

The centre has been inaugurated as part of Sheikh Hamad's keenness and vigorous efforts to ensure that free coronavirus testing centres are available for every individual, whether citizens and residents in the Emirate. Various precautionary and preventive measures have been adopted by the UAE authorities to contain the spread of the Coronavirus transmission in the country.

With the support of the Fujairah Government, the Health Ministry aims to establish more free coronavirus testing centres in the region. These centres will be equipped with the latest and modernised technologies along with expert medical, nursing and administrative staff from the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company - SEHA to support the efforts of the healthcare sector in fighting the virus and protecting the community.
