Nahyan bin Mubarak gets vaccinated for Covid-19

 Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, has received the COVID-19 vaccine. Sheikh Nahyan said that under the guidance and support of the wise leadership, UAE has showcased its ability to deal with the impact of COVID-19 with high efficiency, while giving importance to the best scientific and practical standards, that exemplifies the leadership of UAE’s medical sector.

The UAE has authorised emergency use of Covid-19 vaccine, making it available for the front-liners, who are at maximum risk of contracting the infection. The leadership aims to ensure safety and security of all the front-line workers from infection.

The trials for Covid-19 vaccine were conducted in the country, which was participated by 31,000 volunteers from 125 nationalities. The vaccine has thus been proved safe and effective, resulting in a strong response against the coronavirus.

The use of the COVID -19 vaccine helps in saving lives, and has been a prominent way in which the country has been able to curb the spread of Covid-19 and ensuring safety and health of the people of the Emirate.
