Ministry of Education bans private tutoring at schools and residences, excluding remote learning

Ministry Of Education Prohibits Lessons Teaching By Face To Face Until Further Notice

As part of preventive and precautionary measures taken against the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), The Ministry of Education has banned all forms of private lessons and remedial tutoring offered to students in private entities, residences, and educational institutions. 

The decision, which excludes emote learning offered to students, aims to protect the health of students and the general public.

The Ministry reiterated in a statement that education is a priority that receives all possible support from UAE leaders, who monitor concerted progress in education and the future of students in the country while exerting all efforts to contain the spread of Coronavirus and protect the health of nationals, residents and visitors.
