Life Pharmacy Launches 10 New Pharmacies Across Uae In A Single Day

UAE’s homegrown brand ‘Life Pharmacy’ has announced a mega launch of 10 new outlets across the country in a single day. The outlets were launched during a first-of-its-kind mega retail event with the aim of boosting the post-pandemic investor confidence and growth outlook towards the sector.

 

The 10 new outlets will add cumulatively 25000 square feet of retail space to the largest pharmacy, health and wellness network of the UAE. With the new addition, the Life Pharmacy network now has more than 275 outlets across the six emirates in the country, spanning a total of 600,000 square feet since its establishment in the year 1996.

 

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Abdul Nazar, Chairman and MD of Life Healthcare Group, underlined that the expansion of the network indicates investors confidence and positive growth outlook of economic resurgence of the UAE after the COIVD-19 pandemic. The launch event also hails the UAE’s successful efforts against the COIVD-19 pandemic and post-pandemic stability and economic comeback. He added that the mega vent was made possible due to the proactive and prudent efforts taken by the UAE government and visionary leadership to combat the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

The new pharmacies and enhancement of the retail area will facilitate growth in US$3.5 billion-worth pharmaceuticals market of the UAE. According to Nazar, Life Pharmacy is also working on a strengthening the UAE’s healthcare sector by foraying into clinics and other related healthcare services in the coming months.

“The new outlets will help us reinforce our commitment to be the neighborhood pharmacy next door accessible to our loyal customers easily across communities, high streets and shopping malls,” said Adam Abdul Nazar, Dy. CEO of Life Healthcare Group.

 

He also commended the diversification brought by Life Pharmacy in the sector with its ‘presentation is batter than cure’ approach.

 

“Life Pharmacy has many firsts to its credit including the first drive thru pharmacy, first healthcare hypermarket etc. Life Mobile App is one of the top 5 downloaded shopping applications in UAE with more than 90% of the deliveries done within 30 minutes,” Nazar added.

 

The new pharmacies are adding to the commitment of Life Pharmacy network to enhance the accessibility of affordable healthcare for people across the UAE.
