Hadramaut continues to get free medical care in its remote areas from UAE

UAE continues to extend free medical care to remote areas of Governorate of Hadramout in Yemen. This is achieved through mobile clinics by Emirates Red Crescent (ERC). These mobile clinics got 280 cases of Covid-19 when they were present in Al Oyoun and Abdullah Ghareeb areas at Ghayl Ba Wazir. These patients belonged to various age groups and were given required free medicines and treatments after examination. Medical treatment was also provided for other prevalent diseases like fever, infections, influenza, cough, burns and wounds.

People in the region extended their appreciation and were thankful to UAE for supporting them at the time of crisis. They also lauded the efforts of ERC for implementing the vital project in their region.

The “Mobile Clinics” project is aimed to lessen the people’s suffering in remote areas where they don’t get necessary medical care and no medical staff and centre, by providing their essential services to regions of the Hadramout Governorate.
