With countries across the world reopening their tourism for international visitors, Emirates has announced the resumption of flights from Dubai to Nice from July 2 and Lyon from July 9. As of now, the airline will be offering 4 flights a week to each city.

The move has come in line with France's decision to ease its entry requirements for international visitors with effect from June 9. As France lifts its entry restrictions, UAE-based travellers will be able to visit the European nation without the need for quarantine. With effect from June 9, Emirates customers in the UAE can avail benefits of quarantine-free entry into France. However, they are required to complete the two-week period after receiving both doses of either Pfizer/BioNTech or AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine before boarding their flight.

At the same time, fully vaccinated customers are required to present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result taken at least 72 hours prior to their departure. They can also present a negative Rapid Antigen test result taken no more than 48 hours before the flight.
