New guidelines have been issued for Covid-19 precautions at workplaces as schools, colleges, and offices reopen and return to normal operations. Guidelines have been issued for workplaces in Dubai by the Dubai Economic Department in a circular issued on September 5. 

Office Elevators:

• 
  Elevator operations would be allowed with maximum capacity. No limit on the specific number of persons has been mentioned.

• While inside the elevators, masks should be worn, and social distancing followed. 

Office Workspaces:

• 
  Physical distancing in workspaces is reduced from two metres to one metre. 
• All employees are required to follow safety and preventive measures.
• All employees are advised to get vaccinated against Covid-19.
