Dubai: Drinks will no longer be served in baby bottles with Covid-19 in view

Baby bottles will no longer be accessible for a drink in Dubai in the wake of a covid-19 pandemic. The Commercial Compliance & Consumer Protection (CCCP) sector in Dubai Economy gave out the declaration to stop serving drinks in baby bottles as the practice not only against the local customs but also against precautionary measures of the covid-19.

The directive was issued after authorities found that people often use their bottles in cafes and restaurants and fill them up with coffee and other beverages, which increases the risk of infections.

It came into view of the inspection teams from Dubai Economy and they were quick to address the issue and put a ban on the negative practice. They were also cautious that if this practice continues, it might reflect negatively on the social media users.

They expressed that the bottles are being used for such a practice which is completely against the local culture and traditions but the riskier factor involved here is the fact that if handled carelessly, the bottle can be the cause of spreading the virus even further.

Apart from this, Dubai's economy also encourages people to come out with any negative practices that they have been witnessing in such public places. To place complaints, people can go to the Dubai Consumer Application which is available for digital gadgets, or can visit Consumerrights.ae website.

Dubai along with other emirates is slowly opening and normalizing the post-pandemic year but it is also ensuring that important measures are followed so that any leniency is not shown when it comes to curbing the covid-19 situation in the country.

UAE has already administered covid-19 vaccines to a large part of its population and it is slowly moving towards the set target of vaccinating the whole country and making it a safer place to live. b
