DHA provides COVID-19 testing services to DWTC visitors

The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has been providing COVID-19 testing services for visitors at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) amid the ongoing national efforts to combat the spread of the virus.

Dr Farida Al Khaja, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The Clinical Support Services and Nursing Sector, confirmed that the DHA has been providing COVID-19 testing services for exhibitors, company representatives, visitors and those who participate in international conferences being hosted at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

She added that the efforts are being taken in line with the vision of the Dubai Health Authority to provide easily accessibly testing services to all people across the emirate.

In September, the DHA established three new COVID-19 testing centres at Al Hamriya Port Majlis, Al Rashidiya Majlis, and Jumeirah 1 Port Majlis. Each of these centres is equipped with the necessary facilities to conduct around 550 tests in a day.

At the same time, Dr Al Khaja asserted that Dubai’s capabilities to conduct COVID-19 PCR tests across the emirate have exceeded 80,000 tests per day, which include both public and private sector providers.
