Covid tests, vaccines and other travel requirements in UAE

The United Arab Emirates has come out to be one of the most preferred destinations for people to go on vacations post the impact of Covid-19 pandemic.

This is essentially owed to the UAE authorities and leaders who have managed the pandemic situation with utmost care and safety for its citizens. But knowing how much people are excited to travel to the UAE, the Emirati nation has been making certain changes in its travel requirements.

As per the latest development, the UAE has eased safety protocols this well which includes scrapping the requirement for vaccination of the inbound travelers. Even the mandate to submit a PCR test prior to departure.

The latest guidelines released by the Emirati nation are as follows. It has different guidelines for different countries starting with India, where the pandemic saw a lot of fresh cases last month.

Some of the Indian airlines earlier announced that the passengers who are fully vaccinated or have the vaccination certificate with them do not require any PCR test to travel to the country from the UAE.

But as for the UAE guidelines, all those seeking to travel to India must present a negative Covid 19 PCR test of the time interval of 72 hours.

Pakistan on the other hand dropped the requirement for PCR mandate from February 24 but the UAE stressed for a negative PCR test before the departure to Pakistan.

Another popular neighbor of the UAE, Saudi Arabia has received changes in travel requirements. The passengers except for the children below eight have to present a negative PCR test or antigen test result taken no more than 48 hours time duration.

As for Oman travelers, the test duration must be 96 hours but those who are below 18 year sare exempted from this mandate.
