COVID-19: Unvaccinated residents can get green pass with new AlHosn app feature

Emirates airlines has collaborated with AlHosn app to provide a smoother travel experience for passengers. This development has come in view of the easing of restrictions by the UAE government on unvaccinated community members.

As per the new feature of the AlHosn app, unvaccinated Emiratis will be given a green pass for travel after their complete a disclaimer form.

These categories of Emiratis are required to fill the form before planning travel to foreign destinations:

1. Unvaccinated.

2. Those who have received only one dose.

3. Those who have not received a booster dose of the vaccine six months after getting their second dose.

With effect from April 16, unvaccinated Emiratis are allowed to travel to international destinations. However, they are required to get a PCR test done within 48 hours of their flight with a negative test result.

It is important to note that the UAE authorities have relaxed several COVID-19 restrictions after daily infections continued to drop sharply in the country.

Meanwhile, UAE authorities have urged all community members to continue their compliance with safety measures and precautions to ensure that the accomplishments achieved so far are protected.
