The countries include Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Republic of Congo, South Africa, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia and Zimbabwe. At the same time, the authorities have updated entry measures for passengers from Uganda, Ghana and Rwanda. These measures have been taken while complying with necessary precautionary measures in place to curb the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Passengers arriving from these African nations to the UAE are required to present a negative COVID-19 test report conducted within 48 hours from an approved lab in their respective countries of departure. In addition, they will undergo a Rapid-PCR test at the airports of departure along with another PCR test upon arrival at the UAE airports.
