Abdullah bin Zayed, Foreign Minister of Iraq discuss global fight against COVID-19

Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan had a discussion on global fight against Covid-19 with Iraq’s Deputy Prime Minister of International Affairs and Foreign Minister, Fuad Hussein. In the telephonic conversation, the ministers discussed various ways in which the bilateral relations between UAE and Iraq can be fostered.

Sheikh Abdullah also congratulated Fuad Hussein on assuming the post of Republic of Iraq’s Foreign Minister.

The ministers had a discussion regarding global situation of Covid-19 pandemic and the efforts by both the countries in their fight against the virus.

During the call Sheikh Abdullah and Hussein both displayed their eagerness to foster enhanced cooperation and coordination between both the countries in their fight against pandemic and its effect on the global situation.

Sheikh Abdullah also showcased the keen interest of UAE in developing bilateral relations and coordination with Iraq across various domains. He passed on his wishes for safety and prosperity of the people of Iraq.
