Abdullah bin Zayed and Paraguay FM discuss bilateral relations between countries and measures to fight Covid-19

ABDULLAH BIN ZAYED AND PARAGUAY FM DISCUSS BILATERAL RELATIONS BETWEEN COUNTRIES AND MEASURES TO FIGHT COVID-19

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation had discussions over a phone call with Paraguay Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Rivas Palacios. The diplomats discussed bilateral relations between the countries and future prospects of cooperation and collaboration in various sectors, especially food security.

The foreign affairs ministers of UAE and Paraguay also discussed the latest developments related to Covid-19 pandemic and various measures taken by both countries to counter the crisis while controlling its impact.

The top diplomates also stressed on the importance of current cooperation between nations and coordination while exchanging expert information and supporting global efforts in coming up with vaccine for coronavirus.

Sheikh Abdullah while acknowledging the existing cooperation between countries expressed his desire to elaborate collaboration of UAE and Paraguay to all sectors.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah also applauded Paraguay’s support for Dubai 2020 Expo. He said that he also looks forward to Paraguay’s support and participation in the international support next year.

The Foreign Affairs minister Sheikh Abdullah also stressed the support UAE provided to Paraguay for combating impact and repercussions of Covid-19 and wished good health, safety and prosperity to the people of Paraguay.
