In a major boost to the ongoing fight against COVID-19, the UAE has recorded the lowest number of new infections since the onset of the pandemic in March 2020. According to the UAE's health ministry, the UAE has recorded 78 new COVID-19 infections after conducting 272,261 tests in the past 24 hours

As per a report by the state news agency WAM, 129 recoveries and no COVID-19 related deaths have been reported by the ministry in the past 24 hours.

This development has come in line with the UAE health sector's continuous efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic across the country. The UAE authorities are ensuring all measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 and vaccinate the maximum number of people against the disease.

Since the start of the pandemic, the UAE has reported a total caseload of 739,983 cases with 2,136 deaths and 734,242 recoveries.

In recent weeks, the UAE is witnessing a decreasing number of new COVID-19 cases. Furthermore, the total number of COVID-19 vaccination has also crossed 21,150,000 in the country.

The UAE authorities have called on all community members to continue their compliance with safety protocols to maintain the successes achieved so far.
