“I ask all of you to arm yourself with positivity and optimism in the face of all the challenges. Challenges are opportunities for success. Our fathers and ancestors faced many problems with patience, hope and optimism. Let’s take their leadership today and make their attitude our example,” said His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Measures to prevent the spread of the virus continue to grow. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) decided on Sunday to completely suspend passenger flights for two weeks. Also, the state has stopped issuing visas. These possibly slightly drastic measures are needed to minimize new cases of the virus in the country.

In the UAE, 153 cases of COVID-19 infection have been detected so far, two people have died, 38 have recovered. There are already more than 300 thousand infections in the world and there are more than 13 thousand victims of the virus.

Therefore, now it is so important to take all possible measures in order to protect ourselves, as well as those who are at risk.

Whenever possible, an economic agent should transfer employees to work remotely from home. People should not leave the house without special need, as well as wash their hands thoroughly and not contact with contaminated surfaces, as the virus is quite tenacious and can live on steel or plastic for more than three days.

Such security measures help not only the person personally, but also the state’s health care system, since a potential carrier can infect people who will subsequently need medical attention, and under these conditions, medical facilities in many countries are already crowded. And there is always a risk that those in need of help simply do not have time to help.

While going out there are some simple rules. It is worth putting on a mask, especially if a person feels some signs similar to those of Covid-19, even if it seems that this is a simple cold. You should also keep your distance: in a store, on the street, you should always keep a minimum of 1 meter from other people, do not touch the surfaces without first disinfecting them or without protective gloves. And, you should regularly disinfect the phone. All these measures are quite simple, but effective and necessary. It is equally important to help your loved ones stick to these measures. Leaving children at home and teaching them to take care of themselves, bring food to their older relatives so that they would not have to go out.

All these measures are necessary to stop the virus, which is killing people and not endanger themselves and their loved ones.
