The senior citizens are the most prioritized groups in the nation as they are most vulnerable of catching the virus and hence the UAE government is committed to ensuring the health of this sector above any other section of the society. The Home Health Care program is designed in such a way that people who need continuous follow-ups, patients with mental illness and other serious issues can avail the benefits.

The programme includes both curative and preventive healthcare services such as rehabilitation and nursing services. Medical home delivery and telemedicines are also included in this initiative. The mobile application helps people in availing in-house flu vaccination and other follow-up services.

The efforts were further stressed by Dr. Hussein Abdul Rahman Al Rand, who is the Assistant Under-Secretary for Centres and Health Clinics, who said that through the mobile healthcare service, both the senior citizens as well as the other needy citizens can avail high-quality services.

Through this programme healthcare databases can also give accurate statistics for strategic healthcare planning. The initiative is in line with various efforts taken by the government to protect the health of the community by taking advantage of the resources that the authorities are offering. Through these resources, the government is trying to enhance the efficiency of the health sector in the fight against coronavirus.

The ministry is keen on ensuring that the senior citizens keep on getting all the essential services needed for their betterment. The mobile application is effectively designed in a way that offers a wide range of health services for the aged and also people with determination. This was further established by Dr. Aisha Suhail, Director of the Primary Health Care Department.
