The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has recently announced that all UAE citizens and residents aged 16 and above are now a part of the National COVID-19 Vaccination Programme going on across the country. It has affirmed that all eligible UAE citizens and residents aged 16 and above are allowed to take the vaccination against the COVID-19 disease.

The latest announced has come in line with the decision taken by the ministry to expand the eligibility for the administration of the Coronavirus vaccine among the public. The UAE government has been ensuring proactive measures to protect the health and safety of all community members across the country. The efforts are being carried out in line with the UAE government's plan to vaccinate more than 50 percent of the country's population within the first quarter of 2021.
