The United Arab Emirates is one of the countries that is leading in this department.

The UAE airline has been declared as the safest airline to fly during the coronavirus pandemic as it achieved the highest rating for safety of passengers, which is a complete seven stars. This includes the services and treatment provided by the flight attendants as well.

The global airline quality rating company airlineratings.com is known to rate airlines for their compliance with the safety measures against the pandemic. This includes airlines like Dubai Emirates, Etihad Airways, which is based out of Abu Dhabi, budget carriers FlyDubai and Air Arabia.

The rating was given considering all the factors that determine the safety requirements such as information available on the website regarding Covid-19 measures, instructions, social distancing practices that are ensured with the airlines, flight attendants personal protection equipment and compulsory usage of face masks.

Other than this, special consideration was given to passengers' sanitizer kit and deep clean aircraft available in the aircraft. From the start of the year, the country has been ensuring safer practices for tourists and earlier this month, Emirates introduced self check-in and bag drop kiosks at Dubai International to enhance the touch-less facilities.

Apart from that, facilities to ensure payments without touch advantages are also being introduced, which will also ensure paying for extra baggage allowance at the kiosks itself. Etihad Airways was previously also known for its safety practices and especially social distancing orders.

Other than Etihad Airways, Budget carrier Air Arabia also enjoys very high ranking for the safety protocols it ensures for coronavirus pandemic. The UAE also became the first nations to trial lata’s Travel pass, which is a mobile application to help passengers easily plan out their journeys that includes governments requirements for the Covid-19 testing or any sort of vaccine information.
