ICA issues new rules for entry into Identity & Citizenship offices

Those vaccinated with both vaccine doses and valid negative PCR tests can enter ICA Centres

The Federal Authority of Identity and Citizenship on Saturday issued new precautionary measures for customers and visitors to the ICA centres.

With effect from August 1, visitors, customers and employees who have received both doses of any UAE-approved vaccines will be allowed to enter ICA centres.

According to a statement issued by the authority, ICA employees have been exempted from the new protocols.

Furthermore, unvaccinated persons who present a negative PCR test valid for 48 hours will be given permission to visit the centres. In addition, unvaccinated persons with an exception from competent health authorities and a valid negative PCR test with a validity of 48 hours will also be allowed entry to visit the centres.

Meanwhile, the new rules do not apply to visitors under the age of 16 years.
