Dubai Municipality bars three organisations from functioning for disregarding Covid-19 precautions

On Saturday, Dubai Municipality ordered three organisations to shut down their operations on immediate basis as they violated the Covid-19 preventive norms, made mandatory for all the companies to follow. The barred establishments included: two salons in Global Village and Hudaiba, and one food joint in the Jebel Ali Industrial Area. The two salons were closed down due to overcrowding, where as the food place was shut as people were found not wearing masks, flouting one of the key preventive measures for coronavirus.


Dubai Municipality posted on Twitter to inform people about strictly following the Covid-19 precautionary norms: “Dubai Municipality strengthened its inspection campaigns on establishments to ensure their commitment to precautionary measures. The total commitment rate reached 97%, the number of inspection visits reached 196, 3 establishments were closed, and 2 warnings were made.”
