With the start of Holy month of Ramadan, Dubai Health Authority announced timings

The Dubai Health Authorities have announced the timing with the incoming of the Holy Month of Ramadan. The timings were announced for all the hospitals that come under DHA. The facilities also include the screening centres as well as the vaccination administration centres.

These DHA facilities will operate from 9:00 to 14:00 from Sunday to Thursday. For making it easier during the covid-19 pandemic, the authorities have assured that hospitals and the health centres will operate on the basis of shift timings and medical practitioners will be on call so that there is no disruption of work.

As for the emergency departments, they will continue to operate round the clock. Other than that, Latifa Hospital’s specialist outpatients clinic has also revised timings of operation. They will now be functioning from Sunday to Thursday from 9 to 14:00.

Dubai Hospital outpatient clinic will be working in two shifts. The first shift will start from 8:00 to 13: 00 and the second one will be from 13:00 to 18:00 on weekdays. The Rashid Hospital will start the outpatient clinic at 8:00 in the morning and will continue till 13:00 on weekdays.

The outpatient clinics at the Hatta hospital will start operation from 8:00 and will go on till 18:00. The services will then be resumed late evening at 20:00 and will continue for two hours till 22:00. As for the hospital administration, the Hatta Hospital administration will go on from 8:00 to 13:00.

The vaccination administration will continue through the Holy month. The administration centres will provide services from 9:00 to 16:00 and from 21:00 to midnight from Sunday to Thursday, the same days when the hospital administrations will function. The centres will be only opened during the morning and the services will not be offered during the last ten days of Ramadan. The centers will also be closed on May 7 and 8.

The Covid-19 centres at Al Rashidiya Majlis and Jumeirah Port Council, District 1 will start from 20:00 to 1:00 and the ones at the mall will be open from 9:00 to 15:00. The service at the covid-19 assessment centres such as Al Badaa; Al Khawaneej; and the Dubai Municipality health centres will be provided 24/7.

The 24/7 service includes primary health care facilities such as the Nadd Al Hamar, Al Barsha and Airport Medical Centre and other than this, all other primary facilities will open from 9:00 to 15:00 and from 20:00 to 23:00.

A dedicated child and maternity care centre called Al Mamzhar Health Care will function from 9:00 to 18:00 on all weekdays. The Al Muhaisnah Centre will be open from 5:00 to 17:00 and it will resume its operations after Iftar from 21:00 to 3:00 on weekdays. The Rashidiya Medical Fitness centre will be operating from 8:00 to 16:00 on weekdays.

Other Health service providers such as Emirates Airlines Medical Fitness Centre will be functional from 7:30 to 12:30 and the Dubai Land Medical Fitness Centres will be functional on three days Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 to 12:00.

The fitness centres at the knowledge village, JAFZA, Emirates Medical Fitness Centre and AXS will operate from 8:00 to 13:00. The services at DIFC, Al Lusaily and DAFZA will operate from 9:00 to 14:00. The Al Lusialy Medical centre will only be open on Friday and Saturday but only during evening slots, which will be from 20:00 to 23:00.

The timing for special centers has also been revised. The Dubai Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Centre, Seniors' Happiness Centre along with Dubai Fertility Centre and Dubai Cord Blood & Research Centre will be functioning from 9:00 to 14:00.

The Dubai Complementary Medicine Centre will work from 8:30 to 13:30 and the Thalassemia Centre and the Dubai Diabetes Centre will be operating from 8:00 to 14:00. The rehabilitation centre however will be operating from 9:00 to 16:00 and 21:00 to midnight.
