This the newest measure taken by the Dubai authorities. Earlier, the tourism of the Emirati nation also enforced tight regulations while hosting a party or a gathering. The Dubai media office announced on January 22 that in restaurants, the distance between two tables will also have to be increased by two meters to three meters. The mandate came from the Dubai’s supreme committee of Crisis and Disaster Management, which also asked the restaurant owners to reduce the number of people allowed to sit inside the eatery premises to 7-10 at a table. As for cafe’s, the number should not exceed four people.

A day earlier, certain restrictions were also imposed on the entertainment. This was revealed after Dubai Tourism announced that it suspended all permits based on entertainment that were issued in the emirate.

To ensure public health and safety, all the permits issues within the emirate will be halted, confirmed the Dubai Media Office. The reports also revealed that Dubai tourism is evaluating different measures and processes to evaluate the progress of the Covid-19 safety measures by being in constant touch with the Dubai Health Authorities
