DPI Technology adopted by Ministry of Health to identify suspected Covid-19 patients

The Ministry of Health adopts the “DPI” technology to identify suspected “Corona” patients – localities – health

A laser based DPI technology has been adopted by the Ministry of Health and Community Protection to identify patients who are suspected with Covid-19 infection.

This technology enables a survey on large scale in mere couple of seconds. This would be used as a first step to identify a suspected case of coronavirus before carrying out a PCR scan on them.

This Emirati innovative technology device is developed by the “Quaint Lays” Laboratory in Abu Dhabi. The device functions by reading blood samples from a large sample size of thousands of people and determine presence of coronavirus within few seconds.

It was indicated in “Health” that positive result for coronavirus makes it necessary to perform a PCR nasal scan for detecting the Covid-19 virus.
