Abdullah bin Zayed lauds the efforts by Germany, Russia and Afghanistan in repatriating their nationals from UAE

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan praised the efforts by German Ambassador Ernst Peter Fischer, Russian Ambassador Sergei Kuznetsov and Afghan Consul General Masood Azizi in expatriating their nationals from UAE in last period of time.

In a video call with the three diplomats to the UAE, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed thanked the support and cooperation extended by them towards the Ministry’s efforts to expatriate their nationals in a smooth streamlined manner.

Sheikh highlighted the importance of the cooperation and collaboration between the countries as the basic necessity to ensure a cohort and concerted environment during the Covid-19 pandemic. He further stressed its importance for the safety and security of countries and their nationals which is the ultimate goal.

The Minister of UAE also lauded the strong relationship with these countries and that UAE is determined to extend support and cooperation in various areas in future too.

Along with H.H. Sheikh Abdullah and the foreign diplomats to UAE, the other attendees in the virtual meeting were the Undersecretary in Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Khalid Belhoul Al Falasi and Sheikh Maktoum bin Butti Al Maktoum who is the Director of the Dubai office of MoFAIC.
