Abdullah bin Zayed, Kyrgyz Foreign Minister discuss bilateral relations, efforts to contain pandemic

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Kyrgyzstan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Chingiz Aidarbekov recently held a telephonic conversation during when they discussed joint cooperation between the two countries in various sectors of common interest including economy, trade, investment, science, technology, and food security.

During the call, Sheikh Abdullah and Aidarbekov further reviewed the ongoing developments in the efforts to combat the repercussions of the Coronavirus pandemic. The two ministers went on to praise the continuous efforts of cooperation between the UAE and Kyrgyzstan in confronting COVID-19 disease and containing its consequences on the citizens.

Sheikh Abdullah affirmed the strong ties shared by the UAE and Kyrgyzstan across various areas of mutual interest. Responding to his remarks, Aidarbekov conveyed his country's objectives to strengthen mutual cooperation between the UAE and Kyrgyzstan. He also hailed the medical and humanitarian support provided by the UAE to Kyrgyzstan in the wake of the pandemic crisis.

In addition, the Kyrgyzstani minister congratulated the UAE leadership, government and people on the country's successful mission to Mars with Hope Probe. He asserted that this milestone is the starting point of pride and hope for the entire world, particularly at such a difficult time amid the Coronavirus pandemic.
